OpenProphet is an open-source, local-first autonomous trading agent framework that runs any LLM — Claude, GPT, Gemini, or 294+ others via OpenCode — and connects to Alpaca through MCP. Each Alpaca account gets an isolated runtime with semantic memory over past trades and self-modification capabilities: agents can update their own prompts, strategy rules, and permissions at runtime, gated by a permission layer that blocks order tools when live trading is disabled.

Both paper and live trading are supported, with a web dashboard streaming agent activity in real time.
