Robinhood launched Agentic Trading on May 27, 2026, letting clients bring their own AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or any MCP-compatible tool) to trade in a dedicated agentic account — separate from your main portfolio, so only the funds you deposit there are reachable. The product began in beta with equities and has been expanding.

Safety model: the agent can place orders "without your direct input on each transaction," with Preview Trades shown "when appropriate" — a manual approval gate is not enforced on every trade. Robinhood documents the sandboxed account with funding limits, push notifications and a real-time activity feed with P&L, a one-tap disconnect, and fraud detection with dispute review.

Robinhood also ships Trading and Banking MCP servers for building your own agents.
