Open-source risk-gate MCP for AI-assisted trading: 33 tools enforce position caps, wash-sale rules, and regime-based sizing before any order hits your broker.

traderkit homepage

traderkit is an open-source, risk-gate MCP server built for Claude Code and any MCP client, designed to sit between an AI assistant and a broker. It exposes 33 tools that enforce pre-trade rules — position caps, wash-sale checks, regime-based position sizing, execution-discipline rules (R0–R8, R14), concentration analysis, and portfolio performance metrics — plus options screening, 13F smart-money tracking, activist-filing surveillance, and an LLM council (Anthropic + OpenAI + Google) that synthesizes a multi-provider verdict before an order can proceed.

It is fail-closed by default: if traderkit cannot evaluate a trade, it blocks. It never places orders itself — order execution stays with a paired broker MCP (SnapTrade across Fidelity, E-Trade, IBKR, Schwab, plus native TradeStation tools), and all responses are scrubbed of credential secrets. The regime gate cycles CLEAR → HALT based on market conditions, and wash-sale tracking pools accounts sharing a tax entity.
