Tradier is a US brokerage that built the AI connection into its own platform. There's nothing to install — you open an account, grab a personal API token, and hand it to Claude, Cursor, or Gemini. From there your agent can pull live quotes, read positions, watch options chains, and place orders, on real money or a free paper account first.
It's a natural fit if you already trade alongside an AI assistant and want a broker that speaks the same language — no glue code, no running your own MCP server. Worth keeping in mind: the agent is only as careful as you ask it to be, and Tradier is explicit that you own every trading decision.
Developers get the same access under the hood: a hosted MCP endpoint at mcp.tradier.com/mcp, a REST API with Python and Node.js SDKs, and a PAPER_TRADING: true switch so an agent can iterate without touching live money.
